| There used to be 3 casinos in Texas,
but 2 of them were closed down in 2002. It's unclear whether or not those casinos will ever re-open or not, although
at one time they were negotiating with the state
government to re-open. If at some point they do re-open, I'll make
sure they get listed in this guide to Texas casinos and Texas
gambling. The purpose of this site is to be a guide to Texas casinos and Texas gambling. Since there are so few casinos in Texas, it's an understandably small site, but I anticipate growth in this area. I think that the revenue potential that gambling casinos offer the state will make the possibility of legalizing certain wagering activities inevitable, and it seems to me too that casino gambling is becoming more and more popular throughout the country. No matter what aspect of Texas gambling you're interested in, you'll find information about it here: casinos, casino cruises, dog and horse racing, bingo, lottery, etc. We even have a section regarding Texas gambling laws and about some of the nearby casinos in Oklahoma. Another feature of this site that you might find interesting is the "Other Websites" page. I've hand-picked every website listed in this section, and you can be assured that the websites listed there are content-rich and interesting. (Not just an excuse for casino affiliate banners.) Gambling is illegal in some jurisdictions. This site caters to a worldwide audience. If you live in a jurisdiction where gambling is illegal, please do not click on any links related to online gambling - those links are provided as a service to our visitors who live in areas where gambling is legal. |
