| There used to be 3 casinos in Texas,
but 2 of them were closed down in 2002. It's unclear whether or not those casinos will ever re-open or not, although
at one time they were negotiating with the state
government to re-open. If at some point they do re-open, I'll make
sure they get listed in this guide to Texas casinos and Texas
gambling. The purpose of this site is to be a guide to Texas casinos and Texas gambling. Since there are so few casinos in Texas, it's an understandably small site, but I anticipate growth in this area. I think that the revenue potential that gambling casinos offer the state will make the possibility of legalizing certain wagering activities inevitable, and it seems to me too that casino gambling is becoming more and more popular throughout the country.
